The pillar's lead trouser. Cut on a curved waistband (so it doesn't gap at the lower back when you sit) and a deep front rise (so it doesn't muffin-top when you stand). Sewn at Têxtil Vale do Ave in a mid-weight wool blend that wears year-round.
The straight leg holds shape through the day. The wool blend (95% Italian merino, 5% elastane) gives just enough recovery to keep its line through a 12-hour commute without bagging at the knee.
- Curved waistband, drafted on block-004 (the same block as the Tailored Trouser Straight)
- Deep front rise (11.5 inches at size 28)
- Slant pockets at the front, welt pockets at the back
- Hemmed at 32-inch inseam; can be tailored shorter without redrafting
- Hook-and-bar closure with a concealed button (no exposed metal)
Sized 24–34, even numbers. Falls between US standard sizes; size up if you usually pick a snug fit, down if you usually pick a roomy one.
