Description
An oxford button-down cut on a dropped-shoulder block. The shoulder seam sits a quarter-inch past your natural shoulder, which is the difference between a shirt that pulls when you reach across a table and one that doesn't.
Woven from organic cotton oxford cloth at Têxtil Vale do Ave outside Porto. The weight is closer to a heritage oxford (180 GSM) than the lightweight versions most basics brands stock. It holds a press through dinner.
- Dropped-shoulder block, same as the Silk Blouse and Linen Popover
- Button-down collar with a soft, unfused interlining (rolls naturally; doesn't stand stiff)
- Locker loop at the back yoke
- Mother-of-pearl buttons, two spare sewn inside the placket
- Side gussets at the hem to prevent pulling when tucked
The Pinstripe colorway is a wider stripe than the standard, drawn from a 1970s Portuguese mill archive.
